Swedish Livonia, Solidus Year 166 Suceava Counterfeit

In 1662, under the reign of Eustratie Dabija (1661-1665), the Suceava mint was re-opened in Moldovia. The mint struck many counterfeits of Livonian solidus pieces from 1665-1672.

These coins are different from the original pieces in a few ways. 1. they appear much more coppery 2. they typically have fictitious dates.
